Knightrider Bus Services is a family owned and operated business based in Christchurch on the South Island of New Zealand. We have provided a friendly, convenient, quality passenger service between Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill for over 10 years. Our service operates every night except Saturdays, using State Highway 1, picking up and dropping off passengers on route. Please refer to our timetable.
As from January 3rd 2010 a revised service will operate until further notice. The timetable will remain the same. BUT the service will depart Christchurch on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday only and will Depart from Invercargill on Monday, Wednesday and Friday only.
We cater to a wide clientele base, including international travelers, students, seniors, work commuters and holiday goers. We have listened to our customers; our buses have some of the best leg room in the business. They all have reclining seats, seat belts and reading lights. We also have DVD entertainment available.
Knightrider overnight travel is the most convenient way to connect with the early Domestic and International flights out of Christchurch Airport. No expensive overnight accommodation or additional travel costs are required. We drop you off right outside the terminal, ready for your onward journey. Completely FREE and as part of our service to you, we are only too happy to offer you advice on connecting travel services to Nelson, Picton and the West Coast. We will also happily assist you with your accommodation arrangements, be it through Backpackers, Motels or Hotels. To make sure we can provide you with the best possible service, please mention what assistance you require at time of booking.
 We take great pride in our level of passenger service and believe it is second to none. Therefore, if you have any special transport requirements, for example, a drop off not specified in our timetable, we will do our very best to assist you. But, please remember that our drivers have a responsibility for you and other passenger's safety and have a strict timetable to adhere to. Please discuss your requirements with us at the time of booking and we will do our utmost to help.
